The words on this tote bag and T-shirt were developed at a young women’s summer workshop in Hudson, NY. Girls came up with a list of words; stigmatizing labels used to define and confine young women, and then the girls chose words they would use to describe themselves. Your purchase of a tote bag or tee supports the Incorrigibles Project, which investigates the history and present of youth justice for girls. Proceeds will help support our traveling exhibition, book, and new web platform.
