Bearing Witness to the Incarcerated Girls of New York

We invite you to visit our exhibition, Incorrigibles: Bearing Witness to the Incarcerated Girls of New York, that opened on this year’s International Day of the Girl, October 11th. 

The exhibition features the work of artist Alison Cornyn and the Incorrigibles project, work by artist Beth Thielen, known for her one-of-a-kind artist books and public art projects; a collaborative work with embroidery artist Diana Weylan, writings by girls and women who currently are or formerly were incarcerated; and paintings by Aaliyah, a young artist currently enrolled in an alternative to incarceration program at the Brooklyn Federal Courthouse.

The exhibition is free and open to the public, and will be open until mid-February. This exhibition is made in partnership with the Brooklyn Federal Courthouse and For Freedoms.
