Do you have information, ideas, or a story that you’d like to share with Incorrigibles? Did you spend time at the New York State Training School for Girls in Hudson between 1904 and 1975? Have you been in another group home or juvenile facility for girls? Were you deemed ‘incorrigible’? Can we help you find records of family members who were at the NYSTSG? Many records from this and other institutions were destroyed. However, sometimes there are records that may still exist. We can help you to write a FOIA letter or may be able to direct you to existing resources. If you were sexually abused at the NYSTSG please contact us.
Are you interested in partnering with us? Can we work together to change things for girls – with girls – today? Our talents and skills lie in the arts and we are interested in partnering with youth, grassroots, academic, legal and policy organizations in order to work together.
